When it comes to reliable diesel tanks, we trust Padoan.

These tanks are built using cutting-edge technology and the highest quality standards. Whether aluminum, steel, or stainless steel, the materials are processed through automated manufacturing to ensure maximum precision and durability.

The tanks are welded with robotic MIG/MAG welding, which means that the seams are exceptionally strong and can withstand extreme conditions.

After the production, each tank undergoes a careful quality check, including helium leak testing.

Then, after passing the final inspection, they are equipped with mounting brackets, tension bands and optional accessories. After that the tanks are shipped out world wide.

Over more than one year, we have put the tanks to the test in real-world conditions. On our journey through South America we are using two separate tanks for the following reasons:

– Safety through redundancy: If one tank gets damaged while driving over challenging terrain, the second one serves as back up. So when we travel to remote areas, this can make the difference between being stranded or continuing on our journey,

– Better off-road performance: Having two tanks means that the weight is more evenly distributed on the vehicle and instead of having one large tank, two smaller ones can reduce the risk of fuel starvation when traveling through steep terrain,

– Isolating bad fuel: Each tank is connected directly to the fuel system, so if we get contaminated fuel, which doesn’t happen often, but can, we can then isolate the issue and switch to the tank with better quality fuel. As an example, when we were traveling
through Russia in the winter, we bought winter diesel instead of polar diesel, which meant that it solidified over night in the extreme cold. Since we knew which tank it was coming from, we were able to switch tanks and avoided being stranded in the vast winter wonderland.

Our verdict: Padoan tanks have proven themselves in real-world conditions.
